I agree and have been adding Deb to my prayer list. It sounds like they are going through a hard time and can use the support.
Thanks for the post Ma..

Thank you Carol for your kind words. Although we may not always see eye to eye, in times of tragedy it is always helpful to have refreshing and encoraging words. Rick, thank you for your reply and all you have done to help lift up my spirits. Here is a copy of whats posted on another site explaning it sine i cant really go into it all.

Deborah had a blockage somewhere near her spine that has caused her to have an issue affecting her left brain. Her brain and knowledge is fine but she is impaired on her right side and they have her on three medications that she will have to take every 6 hours for probably the rest of her life to keep her right side and basic brain impulses working more properly.

After a long time in the hospital she is headed home. Her and her husband Jason have home health care coming in and she will not be driving or working for who knows how long. Jason have taken FMLA and he will be home helping them our.

She is under 24 hour supervision until and they hope physical therapy can get her functions back. How short life can change.

Thanks again for the kind words and I hate that I missed the shoe yesterday but please take a lesson in how presious life is and how quickly it can change,

Mrs. SuperSnake

So glad Deb is home!!!!! The nurses and therapy/rehab will help during Deb recovery. Deb is resilent and with her upbeat attitude she will get back to being the Deb we all know. This will be a very TRYING TIME FOR BOTH OF YOU because Deb is a very active girl. She will need her REST and take it easy during recovery because the road to recovery has NO SPEED LIMIT. Deb let Jason take care of you and please mind the DOCTORS. Get well and keep you upbeat attitute so you can lick this pothole in down your road of life!!!! Our thoughts and prayers are with the both of you.:)

For a man that is as busy as he is to hear somewhere along the grapvine that i was ill to take the time and care enough to do that is mind boggling. I think he has a GPS advice installed in me to keep me as far away from him as possible tbut that really lfted me up.

I know I'm just the new guy. I wish you well and pray for your family and that every turns out well for your family. You learn how life can take a turn quickly with a stroke. Both my Father and Father in-law had strokes, so we kinda know what's going on. Have quick and safe recovery.

Well there are many issues still going on and I still have 3 doctors and 3 therapists trying to work it all out before we head down the surgery route. Wish I had better news to report but at least I can get out and about in small spurts as long as I am supervised 24/7 (which is a total pain in the arse!)

Only a select handful of people have ever been allowed to drive the Princess and I figured I could trust the man who taught me to drive to drive my car (after orientation about the speedbumps, railroad tracks, curbs, etc)

Thank you so much for that as I still have a LONG way to go to recovery and still a lot of unanswered questions. Just haveto take it day by day and wait for the magic answer on whats going to fix it permanently...as of right now we have temporaily relieved some of the issues but still no permanent solution (which hopefully isnt neck/spine sugery)

I just wanted to thank all of you again for your thoughts and prayers. I have improved quite a bit from my last post here (July 18) but im still not working, still not driving, still in Physical and Occupational therapy and still under 24 hour supervision. But I have gotten stronger and I think I may see a light at the end of the tunnel...i just hope its not another train!!!

After my stay in ICU in September, they have rearranged my meds, found the source of the problems and I think they are finally on the right track to getting me back out there spinning the wheels soon!
