What better reason to attend?? Unless I run into some work conflicts I am planning on going!

I too am waiting for new cow stories to be uttered in my direction!

Let's just concentrate on "Pony" stories..............

Last year's cow story ended up with a $7800 insurance claim, a lot more damage than what was first suspected. Getting the center pole, transformer and wiring back up and running was over $4000, plus appliances, lost meat in the deep freezer, etc.

That story was quite an ice breaker though, wasn't it!!

Hi Rick, long time no hear. Hope all is well with you guys. Thought about ya during the bad snow storms you've been having. Northern KY area decide to compete with ya last week....what a fricking mess. Now for the past 2 days it's all melting. Think we had a total of about 12 inches, including the squall we got this past Wed. Not bad for a state that's not supposed to be in the snow belt......

Looking forward to seeing all of you again in the fall, if all works out. Maybe this time I'll be able to keep up better at Waterford.

We are planning on coming. We enjoyed the cow stories, "special" collections by the bathroom, and other great stories. Looking forward to going out on Waterford and the dragway again. Cobra's in storage and we can not wait for the warmer weather to get here.

We'll be up in Michigan during that week and it is up in the air as to whether the Roush will be with us. If I can get a trailer, I'll bring my bike and the Roush. Otherwise, it'll be just the bike in the back of the pickup.

Just curious if we have any updates on the event?

Gary Burdell is working on it as we speak, if anyone wishes to volunteer their services please contact him. His contact info is on the home page, or maybe he will post here as time permits.

I will say this logistics is a big issue for this event although we have a BOD who is located in Michigan he is not part of this event, therefore we do not have a local person to perform the legwork.

Gary resides in NY and has graciously taken on this task even though his location is not optimum.

Greetings, thanks for all the offers of support I have already received. ROEA members are the greatest!! Yes, I have volunteered to chair this event and welcome all help since August is just around the corner. It is my goal that our members will have a great experience at the 6th annual roundup event in Michigan. Flyer for the event is nearly completed and waiting approval. You may contact me at the following email for any comments, questions, or ideas about the event ( roushroundup@verizon.net ) As we all love to drive our Roush vehicles, here is a little analogy just for fun. We have all been there, ENJOY!!
I got a late start travelling down a bumpy road that I have never been on before. Ahead lies uncertainty, construction zones with detours, STOP signs and road blocks, sharp learning curves, wrong turns, one way streets, huge pot holes , bad weather and so on, but I continue on my journey because I hope to reach my destination. We're not gonna make it this year. There's a NASA Great Lakes @ Mid Ohio event that same weekend and I'm wanting as much track time and instruction as I can get in. The HPDE bug has bitten hard.

Sorry we'll miss seeing everyone and partaking in the events, we had a good time last year and we trully enjoyed Shirley's cow stories.

We need to think about having a Roush/ROEA show-event within the MCA National next year, being held at the Biltmore. The setting in the Blue Ridge Mountains will be spectacular. Talk about pulling all the stops for a show location.........
