2009 plans!

As I sit here and watch more snow fall I consider my limited 2009 time for car fun! Here is what I think I will target if the economy, work & the boss of me approve:
Local events Chicago area April
May 22nd-24th:Shelby Indiana Spring Fling Brown County State Park Lots of good folks .
June 6 - 13th: Hot Rod Power Tour 2500 miles with 4000 car folks, 4 local Mustangs in our group so far.
June - August: To figure out track events at the AutoBahn, Road America and Gingerman. I have been told there could be a conflict with Road America and the Shelby North Woods event. I hope not!
All summer local events!
September Gingerman!

And I renewed my ROEA membership this week as this is a great group!

Now when will the Snow Stop! Here is the guy that does my drive way sliding over our retaining wall. I love snow ( not ), it does not bother the lab!

I plan on doing the spring fling again this year. Taking the Roush instead of my k-code this year.

-Jerry will be doing local track events in Texas in Jan, Feb, Mar, and in the fall
-April
--Roush signing in Texas
--45th Anniv. in AL
-June
--Mid America Shelby Meet in Tulsa
--Maybe on the Power Tour???
-June, July, Aug, Sept...local shows in OK

The HRPT in June hits the WV area that is as close as I get to PA this year. I need to check on the Statute of Limitations on a couple things before I agree to a PA trip!:D

While very tempting I think my vacation time is too limited to add another trip that it that far. I just came in from putting buckets all around the Roush. We have an ice build up on the roof and water is dripping into the garage. What fun! Maybe South does sound good!

Snow and leak have stopped for now! Yes!!!

About the only thing that is sure (besides death, I hope not too soon, and taxes) for us is heading to Michigan around the time of the Woodward Dream Cruise. Unless I come across a 24' enclosed trailer (to fit 1 or 2 bikes and the Mustang in). I will just be up there with the pickup and the ZX-14 in back.

Trying to arrange coming up to the Roush event in North Carolina in May. We'll drive the Mustang up for that (I'll try to survive the no motorcycle withdrawls ;) )

I'm up in Jersey .. when the weather clears, let's plan on hitting an event or two. I'm more than willing to make a drive in the 428R. No garage queens here! :cool:
