Hey, help out this old guy on the west coast... Is this in a magazine??? Which one? I couldn't make it out on account of my dilapidated eyesight...

And I take it they swept some trophies at a show in your neck of the woods, Deb? Or am I missing the boat here as well? :( You'll have to excuse my ignorance... But definitely a WAY cool stable of ponies - no, thoroughbreds!

Miss Miles as well as being a director for the ROEA also has a promotion company for car shows...and this was at one of them.
Maybe with some prodding Koji you could get Ms. Miles to put on a show out in your neck of the woods for the ROEA!:D

Then maybe you would be out in print too!;)

Yes it is an article from Modified Mustangs aka Mustangs and Fords. And yes they took a couple of trophies home that day...i think the Black Mustang Club really dug the BlackJack because they even took one of their top 25's!

And yes as Mark stated, my husband and I put on a show in 07 in Daytona and in 08 we moved it to NC...no plans yet for 09 as the economy is not cooperating and well...the 45th show is taking a LOT of the time and attention! Maybe if we can get some more active people on the West Coast we CAN put on a huge show out there...so get out there and recruit recruit recruit!!!! :D

If you build it they will come (it being a show and they being the magazine guys)

Here is the entire article (http://www.mustangandfords.com/eventcoverage/mdmp_081103_2008_super_stang_fest/index.html)that was written about the show in case you want to read..

Here's a pic of all the Roushes tucked away nice and neatly in the garage area inside the track. Front and center is another pair of fellow members that are LUCKY DUCKY....Pastor J and Roushelle with their Stage 3 and Roadster!

Now I get it...Duh. Thanks. Congrats to all!

You folks have the show experience (and that's including you, Arnold) and I am but a newbie so you'll have to pardon the ignorance. :D But in reading your posts, Deb, your happy and positive writing came through loud and clear and it should have given it away... :) I would also think positive networking is a big requisite for success, yes? You must have that ability, Deb... It's a knack that's born in some people, right Professor Holland? :D:D

Indeed it is...and when you can find a hobby that you enjoy so much and can find yourself at the center of that making great friends & partners...you cant go wrong! You never know when you just might meet the right person or people that could take your life in a new direction...and if you dont...well then at least you have some good times and made some good friends :D

Funny story about Larry and Phyllis (the topic of this thread). They live a couple of hours from us and we have seen them at numerous shows. Well, it was quite a surprise when we sat down at our seats at the Nascar race here in Charlotte in October...and in the seats DIRECTLY BESIDE OURS, is where they were sitting. 300,000 or so seats in the speedway and we are sitting thigh to thigh with some people we knew. What are the chances?!?

Deb has one of the most fun and exciting lives of anyone I know! She is always going to Roush events and gets to meet Jack ALOT! She got us into Lowes Motor Speedway for some photo opps and we had a blast hanging out with her. WE always do!! She has stayed with us when she is in town here and we welcome her back anytime! So YES she is very good at networking and has the perfect personality for it. :D

Love ya Deb! :p
