Ford Plant in Brazil
This is a video about a new Ford plant in Brazil.
One look at this and you will be able to see why there will never be another Ford plant built in the USA.
It will also point out why more assembly plants will go offshore.

Having worked at Toyota decades ago, factory automation now is astounding. Did you know when I toured the Toyota plant in Japan in '73 that they actually painted footprints onto the assembly line? This was to mark where the employee should step to ensure best efficiency.
Yes, the last comment was, well, provacative. Don't want to talk about politics at ROEA!

Wow...
When I used to work at a Toyota supplier, the head guys at Toyota told us that the UAW controled to much of the big 3, and that they would eventually fall. Some of the autoworkers were getting approx. $60 to $70 an hour, but a lot of that went to the UAW. Toyota was paying their workers to do the same thing for $20 to $25 an hour. That was about 2 years ago.
I even got to meet Mr. Toyoda (spelling is correct). He is only about 5' tall.

Double-wow... I was just a peon, merely attending the Toyota Automotive School in Japan at that time (don't ask!). I still have my textbooks, all in Japanese. Guess that's why I was a crappy mechanic on account I wasn't able to read the darn stuff... :D You know what they used for reference in the text? In a bit of irony, the textbooks referenced the Chevy straight sixes and Delco ignition systems!
But how did you meet Mr. Toyoda? Do you/did you work at Toyota? Or are you an understudy for Q (alluding to your "007"). ;)
