Western ROEA Roush Round Up?????

The ROEA would like to have a 2009 round up out west. In 2009 we have one in Charlotte April 30-May 2 and one tentatively in Michigan the middle of August. If you members would like to host one out west, I am now asking for volunteers – especially one to chair the event. I need suggested sites, suggested dates (preferably late Sept – Dec), a suggested plan and a budget. If we are to have one it needs to be put together now. Many of you have asked to have one out west – now is your time to get one going. We cannot do it without volunteers and organization.

Please let me know if you would volunteer and also please send me your comments (via email). It would be great if I could have them by December 31, 2008 so we can get started on the event. If you have questions, please let me know.

It is the catchy name that we came up the first year we all got together with RPP. We all went to Michigan for a track event, then we went to Sebring, Fl for a track event ending with show at hotel, then we added other items during the weekend. Michigan is now an event at the dragstrip, a car show at the museum, a tour, a track event. In Vegas we had a track event. It is just a "round up" of all the Roush enthusiasts hosted by the ROEA. In Charlotte in 2009 we are having an early bird buffet, a track event, a dinner and a show at Roush Fenway.
