Found this DVD, need a wiring diagram to install my Viper 5900 car alarm with all the bells and whistles. I just ordered this and is supposed to cover all 05-08 Fords bumper to bumper for $29.99, you must have a dual layer DVD though.

Not to be uneducated on this, but what exactly does dual layered mean?

To the best of my knowledge a dual layer DVD should play on any DVD drive. A dual layer drive is only necessary to WRITE to dual layer discs.

I'm not positive about that? They say on the web site you need a dual layer DVD, call them before you buy it.

Here is the warning from the website:

"Note this is a Dual Layer DVD program that will need to be installed on your computer. Please check your DVD Drive and verify dual layer compatability before ordering."

Most newer DVD players all support dual layer reading - just not dual layer DVD burning. You can check your manual or user guide - perhaps on the mfg. website for the following:

"DVD read compliant: DVD single/dual layer (PTP/OTP), DVD-R(3.9GB/4.7GB), DVD-R multi-borders, DVD+R, DVD+R multi-sessions, DVD-RW, and DVD+RW and DVD-RAM"
