Hello Everyone,
Was thinking of changing the gears on my 06stage2, rite now I have supercharger, short throw shifter, and long tubes. Car has 468hp to rear wheels and 411torque. Thinking of changing to 410 gears, did anyone change gears, if so please advise of the pros and cons to this change.
Thanks

Changing gears will not affect hp or torque, just make it accelerate quicker. You'll see a slight decrease in fuel mileage and probably won't need first gear for takeoff.
BTW what else have you done to get that kind of hp and torque? Are you running something other than a Roush supercharger?

Hi lonepalm,
That is a procharger that gave me that horsepower along with the longtubes, thanks for your reply just wondering if it is a good choice the 410s
thanks again

Procharger, huh? Impressive upgrade. I did the Roush pulley, ARH long tubes and x pipe and am only getting 395rwhp. I've been debating the gear thing too. Trying to decide between 3.73 & 4.10. I don't drag race so I'm leaning toward 3.73.

Was also thinking of 3.73s, was told not much of difference, only couple of hundred RPMs between both. Let me know how you made out I am probably going to do the gauges first, thinkink about gauge pod from speed of sound for center of dash, looks pretty cool.
Thanks and good luck
