Roush normally waits until October or November before the production numbers are put out in public.

Nice Roush. Just remember that no matter how many of these awesome looking Roush Mustangs are made, you will still be one of the few out of many that wish they had brought a Roush Mustang. I am a proud owner of a 427R 2007 Vista Blue Mustang. It is #07-213 of a 1,025 made in 2007. I would not trade it for a Cobra, Saleen or a Parnelli Jones. It may not be the fastest Mustang out there but then again who needs all the headaches and tickets that come along with it. One thing for sure it has some of the best looking body styles and handling you get for the total price. Where ever I go people are always turning there heads to take a second look at how my car looks and sounds. To me that is worth more then bragging rights of being the fastest in a 1/4 mile were I live.(O.C Ca.):D

I was talking with my Roush rep this past weekend at a show and he said the 427 numbers were down in the 900 range from last year of the 1025.

DITTO!! I am the happy owner a 2008 Vista Blue 427R and this car will be in the family for a long time. I had considered the Shelby GT500's, but after seeing the 427's in person last year at a local car show (September in the Park) hosted annually by the Derby City Mustang Club, I was hooked and have never looked back.

Attending the ROEA 5th Annual Roush Round Up in Livonia this past Aug, touring the Roush Factory and being a part of the Roush Owners family and events, well, I'm very pleased with being a Roush Owner.

Sorry I wasn't able to give the 427 a better showing on the track at Waterford Hills, but it being our first time on a road course, we didn't do to bad, especially after getting some professional instruction. Next year, we'll do better. We have a really neat multi-track Road Course Park opening up in KY next spring, Bluegrass Motorsports Club-www.drivebluegrass.com and I plan on improving my driving skills a lot there. Once you drive a road course, you get hooked and I'm hooked.

There was talk among some of us in during the Woodward Dream Cruise about getting together at various Road Courses during the year if possible for a fun weekend. I invite all of you to come down to the Bluegrass State for the opening of the new Bluegrass Motorsports Club. I'm sure it would be a blast!!!

I own a 2008 427R modifed by Roush in June 2007. It is #8 of 90. Performance white with a blue strip package. I have modified it quite a bit but it still retains the Roush look and is quite impressive I might say. I am very happy with my car as Carol can attest to and wouldn't trade it for the world...well maybe for $200k but anything short of that I wouldn't. Treasure what you own

Wow - After reviewing the numbers they were down more than I thought they would be. With the ecomomy they will probably be down even more for 2009.

Think I met you at September in the Park?

From what I hear Ford is limiting production of 2009 Mustangs in anticipation of the 2010 and to reduce EOY deals so I would assume Roush will do the same, particularly with our current economic environment.
