Have already had a blast...we left at 4:30 this morning, drove to Grand Prairie, picked it up and "flew" home to OK. Jerry opened it up as many times as he could and was very impressed with the raw power...plus it got 20 mpg...which was a real shocker! :eek:

Just wanted everyone to know what a great buying experience we had at Grand Prairie Ford. Everyone was great to us...they feed us...gave Jerry an autographed Roush hat and gave us two t-shirts.

Plus when Jerry was going through all the paper work in the car...there was an ROEA card in there. :D

Congrats on your new purchase. I was sitting in one at the Lucas Ford show this past sunday, the p51a and a really nice 427 beat me in our class. Oh well... It's ok to lose to 2 extremely nice cars.

Yeah...there have been times that we didn't get a trophy but Jerry always says we drive the best trophy home!

LOL!!! You are sooo right. and it was an amazing drive home at that... here are two pics from the ride home.

I love the mirror shot...was that planned or just dumb blind luck??? There is nothing like cruising down the highway with a bunch of mustangs...you get a lot of looks, smiles, and thumb-ups!

Here are some pictures from last night at dinner. Matt loved the P51A thought it was major cool. Oh you can really see the differance in the color of the spoiler and the body.

Thanks for the pictures...that was a before shot. We took it to CarFX last night to let the mods begin...nothing much just yet...but more to come later. Jerry wants to do some stuff to the TrackPak next.

The mirror shot was luck we were cruising along at about 75 and the car bounces a little at those speeds (LOL), so i rested my arm on the door and snapped the quick picture. i think it came out great; i was shocked when i got home to see the pictures. And yes I love cruising with a bunch of Mustangs on an open road...Nothing like it.

Heres a pic from one of the guys in the ct mustang club. He took the pic on our cruise. There was 98 mustangs in total.

Wow, that's great, when was this cruise. When will you have the next one? I wouldn't mind driving up for one of those...

Unfortunately, there were 2 more cruises planned for the summer but due to the excessice price of gas, especially premium grade, the club cancelled them.:(:(
