I am in the southern tip of West Virginia and purchased Trak Pak #39 in March of 2011. I am a CPA so this past weekend was the first time to really clean and get some good pics.
I believe it has all options and has just over 9000 miles now. It has been a blast and I am planning on a trip to VIR June 4-5 to break it in properly!

Thanks guys for the kind comments. the Roush week is a bad week for the rest of my family as my wife works for a university and both boys are in school and this is near the start. My wife told me I was on my own if went, so I am not sure what to do. I also think Mid-Ohio is as far north as i have ever been, I wonder if there are any other Roush cars headed that way from the south?
As far as can drive....it was my old 2007 gt at VIR that got me looking for a Trak Pak, but we will have to see how fast i can let it go, there is more car thank skill right now I am afraid but she will see some track duty. June 4-5 is my first weekend at VIR and I cannot wait.

The car will be kind to you on the track and will be ready to do whatever it is you'd like to do with it.

Based on last year my bet goes on you.... :)
You may have done some good lap times but you weren't driving!
That would be neat to have a lap timer...

I can bring a couple of lap timers but here's a couple of things that might happen. The first thing is that the insurance people probably won't like it if they find out. Even if your racing the clock they consider it a "competiion". The second thing is that when the lap timers come out, the ratio of cars that come off the track on a hook goes up. I wouldn't want to see that happen and I sure wouldn't want someone to get hurt. Having a timer in the car seems to erase people's minds on what they're really supposed to be doing... Crap, I sound like one of my parents.

I was going to mention that....the first event we had in 03 was a timed event I know I won my class but it also was the last because the insurance company got wind of it... They consider it a competition event if any car is clocked.

Yeah, I can see that happening too. We don't need problems with the insurance company nor do we want to see anyone OR their car get hurt...

I have always wondered why you cannot time events, but you can video them. It seems to me you can just time the lap off the video. You are correct though that it could lead to problems. When I am close to friends on track I seem to push harder than normal. But wow is it alot of fun to go that hard!
