So after finding out my bypass valve was bent and not working at all. I straightened it out and now it actually moves. But I also noticed one of the hose connections was partially busted off. So I took the thing off to see if i could glue it, which i did.

NOW, is there supposed to be any communication between the 2 hose connections on the actuator?? I can blow into one and it comes out the other. For some reason i tend to think there should be no communication between them. Someone please help....as Roush customer service is not replying to my emails. beginning to wonder about how great Roush really is.

It works on vacuum and bypass's when engine is not loaded and boost is not needed, puts less stree on engine rather than staying in boost 100% of time. Only way to test would be with a vacuum tester.

Thanks guys...I'm pretty sure there should be NO communication between the 2 ports. I'll call them today.

Mike,

It operates on Vacuum so if you blew thru it it is entirely possible you blew out the diaphram inside it.
