BlackTop Nationals is set to bring the ultimate car, truck and motorcycle show venue to Wichita, Ks.
BlackTop Nationals, set for Aug. 26-29, 2010, will transform Wichita, the largest city in the state of Kansas, into a memorable, automotive experience, while raising money for Wichita-based and national charities.
More than just a car show, BlackTop Nationals will welcome the nation’s top customizers, restoration experts, and collectors to compete for one of the largest cash purses in America. Organizers expect over 2,000 automobiles, over 3,000 motorcycles and an estimated crowd of 100,000 car enthusiasts to fill the historic streets of downtown Wichita.
The goal of Blacktop Nationals co-founders, Rick Nuckolls and Frank Upton, is to incorporate the best aspects of motorcycle rallies and car shows into a national-quality event that the entire family will enjoy. The fact that it will take place in the middle of the country will make it easy to attend from all points in the United States.
BlackTop Nationals will feature:
• Concourse judging of cars and motorcycles
• Collector vehicle auction
• Drifting competition
• Two cruise nights on Historical Douglas Ave.
• A four-day car build to be sold at the collector auction
• Autocross competition
• Outdoor Space for more than 400 vendors
• Open fair with over 200 vendors
• Children’s activities
• Multiple motorcycle events
