Has there been any word of a C or any type of P51, that is going to be produced in the new model?

I have not heard any info about a C or D for 2010 or 2011.

I had "heard" rumors about the C and D models, with the C coming out late 2010 as a 2011 model but nothing more then rumors right now I guess. To add salt to those rumors, its said to be over 600HP.

Was wondering if we were going to be blessed w/ the only run of P51s or the typical overkill of all models will prevail. Bad enough a B was introduced, w/ no offense to B owners or models. It just makes a joke out of the "collectibility" aspect of the P51, if you are going to run the alphabet. I wonder what are the P51 intentions, will he run them ti the last model of the war which was the K

Saw a display engine yesterday from the Detroit show. It had an id plate that said P51R 600hp.

Keep your fingers crossed that the A and B will be the end of it. Although, our paint schemes on the 2010 would look SWEET !!

I would expect at least a C & D. Personally, it is ok with me. I had this in the back of my mind when I just purchased my new 2009 P-51. I am really jacked. The car is being delivered to my home 12-30. CANNOT WAIT.

I know how you feel. I waited 5 weeks for mine from the time I started the process. Just make sure you check the tune in the car. I have #11 and it didn't have the latest tune in it.
I couldn't think of a better Christmas present...

I decided that I will have the latest tune done here when I get the car. I want to "see" what's happening, not that I don't trust these guys, but they are 2500 miles away. When she gets that first "scratch", I want to be the one to do it. Sounds crazy, but, one of worst experiences was when I had the oil changed in my Zo6, and the tech reached over the fender with no covers, and his beltbuckle did a number on my fender. He, of course, denied it.
These guys over at Anderson seem to be really great so far, but I would still rather not take that chance.

I was lucky to have dinner with Jack Roush in November before the P51A came out. His plan back then was to maybe do A thru D & no more. As you know anyone can change their mind.

Yea, I am ok with any top level decision. All I want to do is enjoy the hec out of the car, and not think about what may or may not lye ahead. I was already there before with what all of us thought would be a "limited production vehicle". As it turned out, we were all wrong. It's all good.
