I hope this is temporary!!! This is NOT an improvement to the forum and is not a user friendly forum style.

I guess I should have put this in the Announcement section that I didn't find when I first made this post. Not an upgrade in my opinion.

The Forum was upgraded to VBulletin 4.0 and our previous style is not compatable. I was up until 4:30am getting the forum back online and yes this is only a TEMP as i am not happy with it either and i am working on a solution but understand i work 12hr shifts with EMS and the spend 6-8hrs on the site so i need my sleep too.

The NEW version of Vbulletin has many new features that we can now use such as inserting video into your post. I appologize for the mess i left things in this morning but i was so tired and couldnt see strainght anymore. I know it will take people a little while to get use to all of the new stuff and i will continue to make improvements as i can but our licence runs out Jan 8th 2010 and we will not have access to any upgrade without buying a new licence.

Yes i love the quick reply feature!!! Glad it finally works!
This is the latest greatest version of vb4.0
We will be upgrading to it on FnSweet soon, but I will be waiting until all the bugs get worked out. You never go live with a "BETA" version which this is and it shows.
Once vBulletin gets all the problems fixed and the third party software companies are ready we will be doing this too.

Oh No, I work for a Software Company it is not Beta Softeware. We are Early Adapters, ahead of the wave. We are visionary! Just sharing the industry perspective.
Hey I see a spell check ICON! How cool is that!

Actually this is beta...........see bottom of page.
"Powered by vBulletin™ Version 4.0.0 Beta 4 "
They released BETA early to get web site owners to help them find the bugs faster. Gold is still a month or two off.

Was a joke, most companies will not release Beta Software for use in a Production Environment.
It is still a decent build. It is a new platform all together from the previous versions of vB. While on the user end there are a lot of new bells and whistles, a new look, there is a completely new backend. Upgrading to this new platform means shedding all your old hacks, all the old skins, styles, graphics.......everything. This upgrade requires a webmaster to rebuild the entire style and layout. A downside, but worth it for the upside.
