I just purchased the "Roushcharged" decal for the hood scoop of my Roush Stage 3, but it came with no instructions at all. Doesn't seem to be a "peel and stick" decal, so what's the method of application? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

They should be your standard vinyl decal where you take the backing of and use some water with a touch of soap in it so you can move the decal into position on the car then smooth it out and take off the top layer of tape.

We put mine on dry (I was told it sticks better) you just have to take a little more time to make sure its in the right place.

Thanks for the input, Guys. I'm a little slow here - so there is a backing to the sticker that you remove to stick it on, then there's a top piece of tape that you remove after the sticker is affixed?

Guys, THanks for all the input. I just wanted to let anyone interested know that I successfully applied the stickers dry to the hood scoop (after careful measurement) with no problems at all.

Just so you know.
1) line up decal where you want it to go
2) peel off bottom layer leaving decal stuck to top layer. Backside of the vinyl decal has an adhesive on it. The bottom layer is pretty much wax paper so it doesn't stick too well. The top layer is a light tack adhesive paper so the letters/ numbers stay in place.
3) spray water with just a couple of drops of dish liquid in it (2-3 drops per pint or can use just water) on the surface and the backside of the decal
4) place decal in position. then when you are happy,
5) use a squeegee over the entire decal to remove water and any bubbles (reason we wetted everything)
6) wait a couple of minute to dry- you can go around to the other side and do it.
7) when dry, remove top paper covering by peeling back. Pull back at about a 180 degrees angle so as not to distrub the decal.
8) stand back and admire your handy work.
That's how I applied all the decals on the race car.

the tape over the "1" doesn't count. Two of us wanted the same number that race, and Rob entered first. ;^)
