Our store is back up and running!:)

Seems we had a bit of an issue with the old software ,so we have a new store up.

If you find an issue feel free to let us know as it still may need a few tweaks here and there.

Right now the quick link above needs to be fixed but the access from the home page works.

Check it out.

I believe Jim was going through all of the orders and shipping them out yesterday. Until we find someone who is will to handle storing and shipping the Items full time there will be delays from time to time.

Are orders shipped USPS or by UPS or FedEx?

02-20-2010, 11:02 AM
Okay, I asked a very simple question that should be able to be answered. If the items were shipped as suggested by a previous post I should have received them by now if you are using Fedex or UPS. Hope this wasn't a "check's in the mail" answer to orders being processed. Yes, I'm making trouble again.

Shirley

No this wasn't a "check's in the mail" answer. The information that i received from the Club President who currently holds all of the stock was that he was shipping everything out USPS flat rate box's Monday Feb 15th.

Your not trouble yet as you have the right to receive the goods you paid for in a timely fashion.

IF in fact the merchandise was shipped last Monday, it certainly should have arrived here by now. I ordered something from California over the weekend and received the items already. I place my order on the 28th of January and the amount was deducted from my Paypal account on that date. I think at this point, I need to look into a refund on my account. Jim, will you take care of that, or who do I need to contact?

IMO opinion, this is no way to treat members. How do you expect to keep members or convince people to join if we continue to be fed stories. If stories can be told regarding the handling of merchandise, what other stories are being told?

Shirley,
Go to your paypal account click on the top (Resolution Center) then once that opens click on Dispute a Transaction on lower left.
Paypal will freeze the funds to the ROEA untill the $$ is either refunded or product is secured.

I'm not sticking up for anyoen here, but I will tell you this. My daughter stayed with us last summer and worked for about a month. I sent her W2 forms and some "Southern" snacks via a USPS flat rate box up to Kutztown College where she's staying becaiuse normal shipping is expensive just for 2 bottles of tea and a few small bags of chips.
It took her 3 weeks and 2 days to get the box. Needless to say, the small bottles of Milos sweet tea we sent were date expired until it got there. I'll be sending UPS or Fed-Ex next time.

Also, my offer still stands on "Minding the Store" everyone....I have the space, I ship daily, and GOD willing I have the time.

Kevin you are absolutley correct that material can get lost in transit however Shirley has not even been given the courtesy of an explanation from Jim! I know he has been on the site as early as today in the chat box at 4:06pm after Shirley's post, to me the silence and lack of explanation states volumes as well as Shirley is not the first to have this issue nor do I think will she be the last unfortunately.

Shirley yes you can still protest with paypal after the transaction, there was another individual before my end of term whom had the same issue with not getting his order and no reply from Jim!
At that time he filed a claim against the order and paypal froze the funds and gave me a time frame to respond by, if there was no responce they would automaticaly refund the money to the buyer and deduct from the sellers account as well as it will go against the seller's rep!

Not a good position but as I see it.... it is brought on by one individual repeatedly. If you haven't received a satisfactory responce from someone on the board then do not hesitate file the claim.

Thank you Marc. As I mean no disrespect to either Kevin or Cameron, I feel as Marc does that I should have heard from the person in charge of merchandise directly either via a PM or on the forum board. Had I been informed via PM, then I would have publically acknowledged that the matter had been taken care of. Lack of communication is a big issue from our board, IMO.

Shirley judging from this post by Jim I would say this is the answer to why you nor anyone else will get any answers....

WE do things as a Board not as dictatorship in the new ROEA... There will be announcements from the ROEA not from the President...So do not look for all the news coming from the President (very self serving in my opinion) We are making decisions as a group...

Just thought I would give anyone thinking about ordering merchandise a heads up on delivery time on your items. In a message through Paypal, the following statement was made by a representative of the ROEA.

While I don't think it is unreasonable to expect to wait 4-6 weeks for delivery of an item ordered over the web..............

I've never had to wait 4-6 weeks on anything purchased via the web, and find it unacceptable. As usual, I am being labeled a troublemaker because I expect timely shipment on merchandise and if there is a problem, be HONEST and forthcoming about it. What is SO bad about that? What other "stories" are being told around here?

06stage2
02-28-2010, 08:00 AM
I don't know what you ordered Shirley, for a jacket I could possibly see 4-6 weeks as I believe they are made to order. Anything else should have shipped within a couple business days.

^ 2 tee shirts......

mln385
02-28-2010, 09:01 AM
That is rediculous.........4 to 6 weeks for stock items?? Merlyn Just an FYI the jackets are not made to order they are in stock and held by the vendor for Personal embroidery if ordered that way, if not they should be available for shipping.

The balance of the merchandise is or was held by this clubs President James Wright and should be available for processing in a short time frame, in this current technological age no one expects to wait more than a week for stock orders.

So let see this new board feels a month and a half is appropriate for merchandise orders , no Financial reports, no membership reports, no meeting minutes.....I would think these orders would be processed and shipped ASAP since the inventory can not be sold after July 1 of this year per Roush's removal of the trademark agreement.

One wonders what the boards plan is for the merchandise after July 1? Absorb the $$$ loss I guess.

Two t-shirts? Heck, those could have been shoved into a manila envelope and been out the door in 15 minutes. 4-6 weeks is absurd. I was gonna order a couple t-shirts myself but after hearing this I changed my mind.

I have never waited for anything longer then 2 weeks, unless i was told there was going to be a time- period when I ordered, anything longer, someone should have contacted you for the reason of the delay and a date when you could expect your items shipped.
If they ordered anything, I am sure they would not want to wait long to receive their items.

Pics are forthcoming. I am awaiting for the dealership to replace my windshield decal, hood scoop, side window louvers, etc... The pics will then be taken and posted. I ship UPS and FEDEX daily by 5:00pm. I also ship USPS daily by 4:30pm. I am very flexible and I think when everyone takes the time we will have available for this, USPS is not going to be a bad experience. I will all but guarantee the orders go out the same day they are received. I say that because if it's a Sunday, they may not go out until Monday.

I guess it should be placed into the peoples option. If they want UPS or FEDEX for tracking, then it should be available. I would imagine its extra cost?

All in all, USPS is flat rate, cheaper and 3 days shipping throughout the USA from all the experience I've had so far.

Well, I've asked to help with this store and heard nothing since. I've sent e-mails with my address and they go unanswered. I sent private messages, still nothing. I see orders coming in for the store and I see questions asking if the order was shipped. I can't stand this anymore.
I cannot sit idly by watching this great club sink inch by inch. I'm pulling out my offer for help since noone seems to care anyway. I say that because if the passion for this site was held by our BOD, they would check e-mail, they would check the forum, I do and I run my own business 24/7. I work 5am until 10pm almost all the time, but I leave this site minimized to check on occasionally. I get on and try and help wherever I can, so I call BS on people who say they work 7 days a week and have no time to do this. If that's the case, they should never have raised their hand and say vote for me I will make a change. I stood in the background before always defending this site, but even though I've raised my hand to help, I'm left to feel unheard or unimportant. Maybe that is what Jack felt to get where it stands today, who knows.
Unless this is the change they were looking for, I guess THEY can scratch one more member off the list as I wish to resign my position (if you can call it one) and get on a life boat while there's still one to row out of here.
I guess I will start to donate my time to the Roush Road Crew.

I'm sorry for everyone that its come to this, and I'm sure you will all see me on fnsweet and other forums under the same name. My passion for the Roush product remains, but I'm not going to be part of a club that is run in this fashion. It does not fit my way of doing business.

Good Luck to all the remaining members and I personally apoligize for any questions you had that I couldn't answer. I see a few out there from 3ponies still unanswered as well.

Cameron, you can pull the plug on my e-mail for the store and for the board. I wish you well.

There are strict guidelines for dissolution of funds, this is a corporate entity and first and foremost the club has to secure enough cash to pay all outstanding debts for a period of time then the balance is distributed in a manner for which the club was established and incorporated in the eyes of the law and IRS guidelines.

So in short ....no the BOD does not get the money but they specifically the E-board can not just walk away and turn the lights out. The closure of the club if it were to happen would be a lengthy process. It would stop functioning as a social organization meaning no memberships nor events but they would have to liquidate assets (merchandise , laptop, etc) then distribute the funds per guidelines.

In short it is allot more work than one would think.
