Jack Roush is scheduled to appear on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Town & Country Ford in Bessemer, Alabama. The dealer is expecting him to arrive somewhere around 6:00pm.

I will be there for the entire duration and would love to meet other members, and hopefully get some new ones to join as well.
If your in the area, or just need a reason to take "your baby" for a cruise, stop on by.

I see the pics.....how did you manage to get him in the car for pics??

I can't wait to meet Jack personally. I've been "x-ing" off the calendar daily leading up to the event. :D

Kevin, I was just Lucky to get Edsal to take time to sit in my car, he also signed it for me too. Jack and Edsal were very friendly and made my day. I know you cant wait till you meet Jack personaly.

Hey, have you had your car on a dyno at all? I hear from Tom (P51B #31) that Roush had retuned 4 of the B model cars (mine being 4th) with this new tune they have out. I thought he told me that you had yours retuned as well. Is that true? if so, what do you think?
I had mine out with cooler weather last week when it finally got down to 50 degrees and holy cow did that thing LOVE cold air. Either I need to find tires that actually get traction, or I guess stay off the gas during cold weather because 3rd gear at a punch broke it loose. 1st and 2nd were useless over half throttle.
They are saying 539rwhp with this tune....let me know.

Hey Kev, I did have my car on the dyno last week. It did 524.35 rwhp and 494.18 torque, bone stock with the new Roush tune. I will prob go back next week and do the SCT tune. Im looking for great numbers after that. I will let you know. Also the Dyno is like the ones nascar uses, so we are looking at more conservative numbers.

I can't wait to see Ronnies car again. I was at Town & Country today telling them about it. They "THINK" my car is clean, I said wait until you see his car...it leaves me speechless. I jokingly said, I think he could take the valve covers off and eat from INSIDE the engine. They just laughed...heck it may be true!!!

LOL, yeah I know. He is a great guy and it was nice getting to put faces to the people online. That car of his is something. I still brag about it and its not even mine!
Hey everyone, Jack will be here from 5pm to 7pm for his signing on Oct, 29th. Earlier I said 6pm.
Any other questions, you can call Town & Country at 205-481-3673. Ask for Kyle or you can talk to the salesman I deal with (Eddie Morton). All great people there.
I may sound like a salesman here, and I assure everyone I get NO kickbacks for saying this, but if anyone is looking for a new Ford and your within driving distance, try these guys out for a deal. I even went up to Cunningham in Tn. to check out the P51B and they were about $6k off the same deal as T&C.

I will be posting pics as time permits. I think the event well and I got to meet many new friends. I handed out a bunch of ROEA applications and info. I couldn't believe how many people knew nothing of ROEA. It will be my goal to change all of that in my area.
