Our local club took a road trip to Ames, Ok back in May to visit Brent Hajek's museum (http://hajekmotorsports.com/). He has some very interesting and one of a kind cars. If you ever get a chance to visit it is worth it. Just call ahead, it is open whenever he is not racing. Every car in his museum is still race ready!!

Those cars are really great! Isn't there a track event out there in a few weeks?

The track event was last weekend when it was over 100 for 5 days. Now it is raining and 72...as Will Rogers once said...if you don't like the weather in Oklahoma...wait 15 minutes. ;)

Cherie, thanks for the share! But over a 100 for all those days? Wow. Even a '63 Merc Marauder. Loved them.

Great shots and the vid was something else. Blue Oval all the way! And to reach 252 mph........

Yeah but Jerry and I were just fine lots of water. It was a blast to show-up all those Shelby's.

Is there a track in Ames Iowa? Maybe that is where I saw an event listed in two weeks. I am also not ready to be an in the rain test driver. My skills need more work! I love chasing guys like you on the track so I can learn!

AHHHHH, there is an event I was just in the wrong state! I hope to nbe on track at Gingermen the same week end. The Gingerman ebvent is at risk due to low attendance! I will buy ice cream for every Roush vehicle that registers and comes! There is super ice cream by the track!

Maybe there's just too much ice cream in your Shelby's suspension, Rick. :D Just kidding! Your dropping your GT500 should help give chase... :)

The GT500 is my cruiser. The Roush is the track car. No Ice Cream in Darth's suspension!

You'll pay buddy! When your wing is gone and you see one on my car I have no idea how it got there!

I wish I could make it to show what ol' red can do on a road course. I would like to see the time difference between my lil V-6 and the mighty 4.6 Roushcharged. At my local track Jerry has be a whole 1.5 - 2 sec on a 1.8mi and I killed several Shelby's last week at the Nationals.

This is just in fun so do not take my jabs too serious.

Ponyexpress, like I said I love chasing guys like you to learn from. No way was I upset. It is all in the driving, I have two friends who have older pretty stock SVTS set up for the track. I am the straight line king and they smoke me on the roadtrack. They are better drivers..

I bet you are also a good teacher!
