Just wanted to post this news article on bad gasoline having been sold in the Maryland area from Hess stations.

http://www.wbaltv.com/money/19771014/detail.html

Your Roushcharged engines likely wouldn't take a liking to water in the gas so be selective if you live or drive in the area. Ryu, I think you mentioned you spend some time up there for work...

We are already having issues with the 10% ethanol in the gas down here in Florida. I had a customer who runs a gas station claim he can fill a glass container with fresh gas and within a month it will have a big layer of water sitting on the top.

I am using David Lyles Gas Treatment in my Roush (don't drive it much so the gas sits for quite a while) as well in my 5 gallon lawn mower gas can. Everything else I own gets driven enough to get fresh gas within a week or so.

I am thinking of replacing my gasser truck with a diesel soon.

Thx for the update Koji. Luckily I don't drive the Roush in that direction. But, all this ethanol is killing alot of boats in the area...

I'm thankful for not being in the Canoe Club..I was a land lover and we ate normal food. If you call K & C rations normal. Retired before I got my taste of the MRE's, thank you very much.

You guys crack me up... But you ate balook (baloot)? Rather gagged on it??? The half-developed chicken embryo?? CRAPOLA! And my bud - who was, ahem, in the Peace Corps - had a pet monkey who became a dinner plate...

the embryo goes down fairly smooth with a bottle of cold San Miguel beer...you barely feel the beak and claws.

You should see me at my desk... Gag... Choke... Worse... :) But I will admit to eating raw horse meat in Japan. I felt like I was eating Trigger.

PB&J...smooth or chunky?...favorite jelly/jam?

Extra crunchy for me and on a toasted bun with no jam!!! But if I did have to pick jam it would be raspberry!

Is sushi exotic enough to add to your list? Or snake spread on crackers? or buffalo burgers?

Being out at sea for all that time got to your stomach, Dave! But have I got the most exotic stuff for you... MREs. Tried and true, US red, white and blue! You can even put your MRE on my Roushcharger for a quick warm up!

Do you really eat this stuff??????????? :) Heck, I don't even eat sushi (anymore), never mind snake spread. Tommy's Burger, baby!

What's a Tommy's Burger?? Man, have you missed out. Guaranteed to launch you in the morning... :) No, they're not veggie... Good ol' ground cow but with LOTS of GREASY chili; it'll stain your fingers red. Yum!

But I've got something even better than MRE's for ya... Chocolate natto. I guarantee that will make you, ah, regurgitate if you can get it past your gums and into your tums...

http://qjphotos.wordpress.com/2009/06/21/chocolate-natto/

They're "fermented" soy beans mixed in with chocolate. "Fermented" is a food aficionado's way of describing....rotten. :)
