As you can see Ferrell gas is the proud new owner and they will be driving the truck cross country to their various job sites through out the year.

Nice looking truck, it will be ineresting to see how this new option works out.
Not like you can pull up to any gas station and get a fill up of LP.;)

Interesting post. A saw an '09 Roush propane at the Seal Beach Show just a few months ago. See the thread...

Actually, I drove dedicated natural gas vehicles from 1997 to 2003. Never ran out of fuel. Propane should be a snap... :)

Looks like there is a significant loss of bed space. Not too good if you're using it for a work truck

Well, Paul, our Company also had a F150 dedicated natural gas pickup. Yes, you're right, there was an extra compressed natural gas cylinder in the bed. However, it really never interfered with the loads we picked up.

We also had to remove the head after about 120,000 miles when a plug snapped off and the thread got messed up (couldn't repair). When we took off the head, and after 120,000 miles, we were shocked as there was very, very minimal cylinder wall wear. All compression checks prior to to repair corroborated the observation!

Perhaps the propane will yield similar but not exact results. Good product for the right time, imho... Plus its got Jack's name!
