Just writing a few lines to let everyone in the ROEA world know just how proud I am of my latest investment.
First off my name is Rocky (Pocka) Chambers. I am from Smyrna, TN. I recently purchased the #100 of the 200 Roush 428R Mustangs and let me tell you – oh, what a beautiful babe she is! Black on black matte. She is like a black night screaming through the sunlight.
A couple of weeks after I purchased my 428R I took it to Beech Bend Race Park and over the 2 day weekend we took home 5 top awards including ROUSH Best of Show. I am truly proud of that. Jack Roush's daughter was racing that weekend so I had her sign the back of one of my awards. Now I am just waiting for the chance to meet Jack in person so he can put his John Hancock on my car.
At the second showing of my 428R, we were put in a late model/modified class with some 60's Mustangs and I still got a second place. I showed my Mustang a few weeks ago and we got a third place. I think we go robbed!! But, like always they say you can't always win them all - but I thought we should have won this one.
I would say that we are off to a great relationship…… my 428R and I. The 428R is one of the baddest Mustangs out there, as of late, and I must say that "I am truly proud to own #100."
